A YOUNG man was shot dead after attending a benefit dance in barangay Cabangcalan, Tuburan town at 6 am Saturday.
PO2 Ariel Maravillas of Tuburan police said the 23-year-old victim identified as Jeffrey Cañete, a resident of barangay Marmol, Tuburan town sustained two gunshot wounds in the head.
Maravillas said the victim was with his girlfriend when he was ambushed by unidentified assailants.
