Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña

Mayor Tomas Osmeña is not happy with the recent revamp of officers in the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7).

He said that starting on Thursday, he would no longer give cash reward of P50,000 for every dead crime suspect.

He added he would no longer get involve in the police anti-crime and anti-drugs campaign.

“Daghan man ang bright diha. Sila na lang ang magbuot (There are many bright people there. Let them decide),” he told a news conference on Thursday noon.

Osmeña earlier dangled a P50,000 reward for every dead petty crime suspect and P5,000 each for those wounded as part of his campaign against criminality.
