SHANGRI-LA’S Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu pushes outdoor fun up a notch with the launch of its Jogging Trail and Zipline Park at the Ocean Terraces.

Situated across the shoreline, the resort’s expansive sporting facility combines exercise with relaxation to enable guests to get in shape amidst sea whiffs and the acoustic rhythm of rushing waves.

Sprawled across 400 meters of invigorating space, the flora-hedged Jogging Trail features numerous training stations for healthy pleasures. Guests can enjoy energy-filled hours working up a sweat on the stretch pole and balance pad, push-up bars, slackline balance beam, monkey bars, log hop, horizontal bars, body tuck and sit and reach bench, hand hop, set-up bench, stair stepper, zig zag balance walk and the body dips and reverse pull-up bars.

The resort’s Jogging Trail opens daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and access is complimentary for in-house guests.

Vacationers seeking more excitement need only glance up to find the answer. Suspended 40 feet above the ground, the resort’s zipline offers enthusiasts a one-way ride above lush gardens as they zing across the 80-meter stretch in high spirits and take in spectacular views of the Mactan Channel.

The resort’s Zipline Park opens daily from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Single rides are available at P150 net, while two rides are at P200 net.

With the addition of these recreational facilities, the resort enhances its group packages for more enthusiastic stays and presents a comprehensive range of corporate-oriented programs designed to boost motivation, encourage collaboration and amplify synergy.
