THE Sinag Pilipinas basketball team resumes its quest for gold in the 27th Southeast Asian Games today when they tackle hosts, Myanmar at the Zeya-thiri Stadium in Naypyidaw.

After struggling to get off the gates in their, 88-75 win over Singapore, the Nationals played much better basketball in beating Cambodia, 107-57, the other day, for their second win in this single round-robin tournament.

The team with the most wins at the end of the round will claim the gold medal.

Far Eastern University forward Mac Belo registered another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds against Cambodia, leading a balanced scoring outburst by the Nationals that saw a total of six players reach double figures.
