Chief Supt. Prudencio Bañas, director of the Police Regional Office (PRO-7), is getting ready for a new assignment.
He said he was notified about this impending transfer when his tour of duty in the Central Visayas ends soon.
“It (the reassignment) does not matter as long as we continue doing our job. I’m just satisfied that I was able to contribute in my own little way in improving peace and order situation of Region 7,” said Bañas.
Bañas thanked his personnel and local government units for supporting the intensified campaign against illegal drugs when he assumed his post in May last year.
The PRO-7 was recently recognized as an Outstanding Unit for its efforts against organized crimes in the region.
