A MAN was arrested while several packs of suspected shabu were confiscated in two separate drug raids in Talisay City, southern Cebu yesterday.
Operatives of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) first raided the house of Ricardo Pardillo in barangay Tangke.
Pardillo was able to escape.
At least five small packs and a medium pack believed to contain shabu were found in his house.
A few hours later, CIDG-7 operatives raided the house of Edmar Cabo in sitio Mahayahay, barangay San Isidro.
Cabo fled but police arrested his father Mario after he was caught possessing 12 sachets of suspected shabu.
Another 25 packs of suspected shabu were recovered from the house.
Police said it was the second time that Mario was arrested for the same offense.
Mario admitted that he bought the illegal drugs in barangay Tangke and sold them in his house.
“Ginagmay raman ni akoa, sir (I am just a small-time dealer, sir),” he said.
