Suspected hostage taker shot dead by SWAT in Mandaue

POLICE shot dead a suspected drug user who reportedly held his child hostage in Barangay Tabok, Mandaue City at past 8 a.m. Saturday.
The 33-year-old hostage taker identified as Alfie Perales was shot in the head by SWAT police after an hour of negotiation.
Perales refused to hand over to police his eight-month old baby.
