A 29-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly molested a minor in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Sunday afternoon.
Charlie Balsimo, a resident of Mandaue City was arrested by personnel of Mambaling police precinct after Sheila (not her real name) confirmed that Balsimo was the person who sexually molested her.
Police Chief Inspector Randy Caballes, station commander of Mambaling police, said that the incident happened after the suspect visited the father of the girl.
When Sheila’s father went out to buy something, the suspect allegedly started molesting the child.
Rape charges were already filed in court against the suspect.
