Five newly identified drug personalities were arrested by the police during a drug bust operation in Sitio Bagumbayan in Barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.
Police identified the suspects as Rodney Hingobesa, 40, Aldwin Igot, 44, Bob Lacio, 44, Johnylito Arcenal, 19 and Novajane Pahugot.
According to Police Supt. Wayne Magbanua, the chief of Mactan Police Station said the operation was conducted after residents complained to local authorities about their illegal activities.
Seized from them were packs of suspected shabu worth P73,396.
Suspect are now detained at Lapu-Lapu Police precinct pending the filing of charges against them.
