TRANSACTIONS for permits and documents from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-7) permits and documents are now easier.
DENR-7 Regional Executive Director Isabelo Montejo said their stations in Badian, Carmen and Toledo City can now accept processing of some of their transactions.
They include tree cutting, register chainsaw, transport permit and certification of land status. “This will be more convenient to the people,” he said.
Those living in southern Cebu can process in Badian town while those living in the north can process papers in Carmen and those in western Cebu can transact in Toledo City.
There are some transactions that remain to be processed in the regional office since it needs recommendation and others require the signature of the DENR secretary.
These include special land use application and community based forest management agreement.
