13 nabbed, P1M in drugs seized in Duljo-Fatima

RAIDS in four sitios in Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City, last Friday led to the arrest of 13 persons and the confiscation of packs of suspected shabu, cash, drug paraphernalia and three video karera machines.

The police raids led by Senior Supt. Joel Doria, Cebu City police chief, were done in Sitios Buli, Plastican, Duco and Micabaja. Doria said illegal drugs and gambling were rampant in these four sitios.

Those arrested in Sitio Plastican were Rafael Rivera, Jennikalinz Wannemacher and Hector Rivera.

Police arrested Iris Alegado and Julius Cabellon in Sitio Buli.

A certain Jason Ortiz was arrested in Sitio Duco. In Sitio Micabaja, police nabbed Junalyn Laporre, Aldrin Dayondon, Wilfredo Dayonot, Dennis Delariarte, Marvin Alicabo, Aldie Debalso and Jeffrey Bacasol.

Police recovered several sachets of suspected shabu from the suspects as well as three units of video karera machines and peso coins amounting to P300.

As of yesterday, Senior Insp. Narrolf Tan of Police Station 11 said they seized 9.4 grams of shabu worth P1 million from the raids.

The suspects were detained at the Cebu City police precinct.
