One killed, three nabbed in Lapu drug bust

One died while three persons were arrested in a buy bust operation by the Lapu-Lapu City Police at Sitio Humay-Humay, Barangay Gun-ib, Lapu-Lapu City at past 11 AM Thursday.

Richie Bebita, a 41-year-old resident of the area, died at the hospital due to gunshot wounds sustained in a shootout with police.

Arrested were Greechel Jian Manulat, 32, common law partner of Bebita, Ervic Luis, 40, of Sangi, Barangay Pajo, Eustacio Ampalayom 47, and Michael Hortilano, 36.

Taken from them were several loaded guns, P4,100 in cash and shabu worth P107,970.
