HARLEY Davidson continued its resurgent play as it claimed a 62-56 win over Bayfront Hotel Cebu in Division A action in the PLDT SME Nation-Alfredo Gothong 21st SHAABAA Basketball Tournament last Sunday at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu campus in Canduman, Mandaue City.
Harley Davidson was last year’s runners-up in this division but started slow this season. However, it seemingly found its groove of late and now hold the scalp of Bayfront Hotel to show for it and boost its win-loss record to 3-4, the same as its victims.
Fletcher Galvez led the team in scoring with 17 points while Steven Co backed him up with 16. AJ Ong and Jair Igna also provided some much-needed scoring punch with a combined 15.
The Cabahug brothers, Elddie and Elmer Mykiel, were Bayfront’s best offensive options against Harley Davidson as they connived to score 29.
In the other Division A match, Gaisano Capital put the defending champions Petron Bling Nation out of their misery with a 104-91 victory.
