TRAFFIC congestion occurred at the South Road Properties (SRP) after a truck broke down near the SRP viaduct Friday morning.

As of 9:45 am the truck had yet to be pulled out, the Cebu City Transportation Office (CTTO) said.

CCTO chief Rafael Yap advised northbound motorists to pass through Vestil Street or the Mambaling Access Road in order to avoid the congestion. Southbound vehicles should head to Natalio Bacalso Avenue instead. The truck conked out at 6:12 am and traffic congestion built up 30 minutes later.

Yap said two motorcycle riders collided with each other at 7:15 am but they were immediately pulled out.
