A 52-year-old fish trader died after he and his family were robbed by two unidentified men in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, on Monday evening.

Silvestre Lagura of Sitio Seaweeds, Barangay Pusok, sustained several gunshot wounds in the body. He was brought to Mactan Doctors Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

PO2 Dan Palacio Gacoscosim of the City Homicide Section said Lagura, together with his live-in partner Leonora Estardo, 52, and her 14-year-old son had just arrived home on board their service vehicle past 11:00 p.m. when motorcycle-riding men appeared and shot Lagura several times.

The assailants took the victim’s bag containing P25,000 cash, two mobile phones, a gold bracelet and a gold ring.
