PINOY PRIDE 39 LAUNCHING TODAY

CEBU’S upcoming major boxing event, the Pinoy Pride 39: IBF World Championships will be launched today at the Abuhan Tres in I2 Building of the Cebu I.T. Park.

No less than main event protagonist, former world title challenger Milan “El Metodico” Melindo will spearhead the affair.

Melindo will talk about his IBF interim world flyweight title bout against Thai Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr. (31-4-1,16KOs) of Thailand that will be held at the Cebu Coliseum on Nov. 27.

Joining Melindo will be the comebacking “Prince” Albert Pagara (26-1,18KOs ) who recently lost to Cesar Juarez of Mexico via knockout for the WBO Inter-continental super bantamweight title in San Mateo, California, USA last July. He will be joined by his older brother, Jason “El Niño” Pagara (39-2,24KOs), Jeo Santisima, amateur standout KJ Cataraja and WBO Oriental Bantamweight champion Jimmy Paypa who will also fight in the undercard.
