Cab-PUJ collision causes heavy traffic at N. Bacalso
TRAFFIC snarled after a public utility jeepney (PUJ) and a taxi collided along N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City Friday night.
The accident caused heavy traffic in the area as it took a while before the stalled PUJ was removed from its lane after its steering wheel malfunctioned due to the impact of the collision.
Hector Arcenal, Base Control Operator of the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO), said traffic in the area was already heavy before the accident because of a basketball competition held at the University of San Jose-Recoletos-Basak Campus.
The tournament drew a huge crowd as it was participated by PBA teams NLEX Road Road Wariorrs and Meralco Bolts.
No one was hurt in the accident.
