Cebu Province wins two golds in BP triathlon

CEBU PROVINCE bagged two gold medals in triathlon yesterday in the ongoing Batang Pinoy National Finals in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Moira Frances Gabrielle Erediano won her second gold medal in the meet after topping the girls’ 11-12 years age group of triathlon.

The Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) bet who won her first gold medal in cycling last Sunday finished the race in 24 minutes and 19 seconds to emerge on top.

Karen Andrea Manayon won the second gold in triathlon after topping the girls’ 13-15 years old age group with a time of 40:16.

Meanwhile, siblings Jisha Zhyra and Justine Ayra Azur of the Cebu City Niños each won gold medals in karatedo competition.

Jisha Zhyra topped the nine years old and under novice kata event while Justine Ayra topped the 11-under novice kata.
