PDEA arrest Cordova village chief’s brother, over P500k worth of shabu seized

A brother of a barangay captain in Cordova town was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Friday night.

Stephen Baguio, 34, brother of Cogon barangay captian Francisco Baguio, was apprehended by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA 7) after he sold shabu to an undercover agent.

According to Leie Albiar, PDEA 7 spokesperson, the undercover agent bought shabu from Baguio in his home in Barangay Cogon, Cordova leading to his arrest.

Albiar added that the suspect can sell at least 200 grams of the illegal substance per week.

Confiscated from Baguio were 187 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 250 grams worth more than a half million.
