FANS of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, collectively known as AlDub Nation, has again proven that they still rule Twitter.
The phenomenal loveteam’s upcoming teleserye, “Destined To Be Yours,” became the country’s top trending tweet following the first teaser release of GMA’s upcoming primetime series Friday night.
“Destined To Be Yours” got over 123,000 tweets, just hours after the GMA 7’s “24 Oras” premiered the first of its three trailers.
Twitter had reported earlier that AlDub had been highly influential on the social media site in 2016 with over 200 related hashtags.
Some of these include their premiere night for their first movie “Imagine You and Me” and notable episodes of Eat Bulaga’s
Kalyeserye segment.
“Destined to be Yours” is one of the highly anticipated TV series to hit the Kapuso primetime block early next year.
Meanwhile, Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye is once again taking a break after Saturday’s episode where Alden and Maine’s twins, Charmaine Nidora and Richard Nidoro were baptized.
Kalyeserye temporarily bid its viewers goodbye with a promise that it will come back soon.
