‘That’s My Game’ badminton tilt on

THE “That’s My Game!” Badminton Tournament gets going today at the Patt’s Badminton Court in Barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City.

The tournament, which is also presented by the Patt’s Badminton Club, will run until tomorrow and features four levels in men’s, women’s and mixed doubles competitions.

Some 100 smashers from all over the country including those from Palawan and Manila have confirmed their participation, organizer Kevin Bergantin told Cebu Daily News.

Mindanao players from Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City will also make their appearance while smashers from Ormoc City, Negros, Leyte and Tacloban City will also play.

Highlight of the competition is the super mixed category, whose winners will take home P7,000 while their runners-up will bag P3,500.

Level D winners will get P5,500 while the second placers will win P3,000. Champions in levels E, F, and G will pocket P4,500, P3,500 and P2,500, respectively while their
runners-up will bank P2,500, P2,000, and P1,000, respectively.

The tournament will also feature a kids doubles for boys and girls 14 years old and younger.
