Two persons were killed by motorcycle riders in separate shooting incidents in Barangays Poblacion and Ocaña, Carcar City, Thursday night.
Junrey Plarisan alias “Insik”, a resident of Barangay Liboron, was already dead when brought to the hospital for treatment.
Po3 Reggie Amad of the Carcar City Police Station said that Plarisan disembarked from a south-bound bus in the vicinity of Barangay Poblacion at around 6 p.m.
He was already walking on the roadside when a still unidentified motorcycle rider fired shots at him, hitting him on the different parts of his body.
The gunman and the motorcycle driver immediately fled after the incident.
Police recovered 4 empty shells of .45 caliber pistol from the crime scene.
About two hours after, Ryan Tabada Echavez, 21, was also shot in Barangay Ocaña, Carcar.
Po3 Amad said that Echavez, a motorcycle-for-hire driver, was also shot by a still unidentified motorcycle backrider.
Recovered from the crime scene were two empty shell of a 9 mm pistol.
Amad said they are still investigation the motive of the two shooting incidents.
