A 26-year-old man met his untimely death after he was hacked twice by his elder brother inside their house in Barangay Santican, Danao City, northern Cebu last Monday morning.
Eugene Pasay, single, sustained two hack wounds in the body after being attacked by his 40-year-old brother, Joselito, married, with a 15-inch bolo.
PO3 Joel Ilustrisimo of Danao City Police Station said the victim was still sleeping during the attack.
Eugene died instantly. Joselito surrendered to their barangay captain, Josephine Andahao, with the weapon he used in the killing.
The police are still establishing the motive of the killing. Joselito is now detained at the Danao City police station.
