At least two people were hurt when tiles from a wall of a department store located along Osmeña Boulevard suddenly fell on Saturday afternoon.

Johnsalito Cantalao told Cebu Daily News that he hurt his shoulder after he protected his mother from the tiles which fell from the wall as they were passing along the mall.

“Nilabang raman mi dinhing dapit, nya nakit-an nako nga ang tiles natagak mao nga dali nako nga gitukmod akong mama ug akong naigo dinhi sa akong abaga,” (We crossed the street when I saw the tiles fall. I pushed my mother so that she would not be hit by falling tiles and it hit me on the shoulder instead) Cantalao said.

Cantalao was rushed to the hospital.
