CEBU Tenpin Bowling Association’s (Cetba) vice president Docdoc Gothong clinched the Cetba Friday Group bowling tournament men’s division title last Friday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Gothong finished the four-game series with 869 pinfalls, beating Pepe Delos Reyes, who settled for second with 821 pinfalls.
Joseph Yu rounded off the top three keglers with 809 pinfalls.
Makoto Osada placed fourth with 783 pinfalls followed by Rene Ceniza at fifth place with 772 pinfalls.
In the women’s division, Rose Camero dominated the competition by scoring 841 pinfalls.
Lyn Oka settled for second place with 810 while Inday Aguilar claimed the third spot with 787 followed by Cetba president Gretchen Tormis with 781 pinfalls and Emi Osada at fifth place with 769 pinfalls.
