AFTER unveiling his new look and new identity on ABS-CBN’s “Rated K” last Sunday, Xander Ford is even more determined to pursue a showbiz career.
“Ngayong artistahin ka na, anong plano mo ngayon?” magazine show host Korina Sanchez asked Xander, who was formerly known as Marlou Arizala, one of the members of Hasht5, a boy band parody whose videos became viral in 2015.
“Gusto ko pong bumalik sa pag aartista at seryosohin po ang trabaho ko. Gusto ko po talagang tumulong sa mga magulang ko,” he told Sanchez.
In another ABS CBN interview Xander was quoted as saying that he wants to work with Star Magic talent Miles Ocampo as a love team.
Arizala left Hasht5 in 2016 to start a solo career and joined the ABS-CBN family sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” playing Ocampo’s suitor.
His transformation reveal last Sunday on “Rated K” was a trending topic worldwide.
Before the makeover, Arizala confessed to being the subject of shame and bullying, the main reason that made him decide to undergo plastic surgery.
The procedure was handled by Dr. Samuel Eric C. Yapjuangco of the Icon Clinic.
After the big reveal, Xander said on his Instagram, “People never really liked me for who I am, cause I was never what they wanted me to be.”
