HE’S back in the Kapamilya Network.
After transferring to TV5 in 2012, actor-model Derek Ramsay has returned to ABS-CBN.
A press statement from Kane Errol Choa, head of Integrated Corporate Communications of Kapamilya Network, was posted by @abscbnpr on Instagram last November 17 announcing Ramsay’s comeback. “ABS-CBN welcomes back Derek Ramsay who will soon work with Bea Alonzo and Paulo Avelino in the film ‘Kasal’ under Star Cinema.”
“ABS-CBN’s top management and Derek have met recently and resolved the issues arising from his transfer to another network five years ago,” the press statement read.
Last October 23, Ramsay posted on his Instagram account a photo of him with Alonzo, Avelino, movie director Ruel Bayani and Malou Santos, the chief operating officer of Star Creatives.
“Thank you Lord for another blessing. I’m so happy to finally hug you tita @malousantos03. It’s truly an honor to work with such talented superstars and to be directed once again with the brilliant director @rekdibayani,” Ramsay captioned the photo.
To recall, Ramsay’s movies with Star Cinema included “Ex With Benefits” (2014), “Etiquette for Mistresses” (2015) and “All You Need is Pag-ibig” (2015).
He will be seen next in the official Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “All of You” opposite Jennylyn Mercado.
