Global Cebu vs topranked Meralco in today’s semis

THE Global Cebu FC battles topranked FC Meralco Manila Sparks in today’s crossover semifinals of the Philippines Football League (PFL) at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Following their 2-0 win against Ceres Negros FC last Tuesday, Global Cebu advanced to the semifinals as the fourth-ranked team.

Global Cebu FC’s striker Rufo Sanchez said after their win over Negros, that he will do his best to be part of the PFL champions team and represent the Philippines in the 2018 Asian Football Confideration (AFC).

“We were able to rest key players for the semi-finals,” Global Cebu FC head-coach, Akhbar Nawas said after the match against Ceres Negros FC expressing his readiness for today’s game. “We ended the match without any injuries or suspension,” he added.

The other semifinals pit Kaya Makati FC vs Ceres Negros FC.
