WANTING to fall in love and move on this Christmas Day?
Then, the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2017 entries, “All of You” and “Siargao” are the films you should not miss.
“All of You” is the reunion movie of Derek Ramsay and Jennylyn Mercado, who both starred in the hit 2014 MMFF film, “English Only, Please” for which they bagged the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, respectively.
The story is about Gab (Ramsay) and Gabby (Mercado), “strangers” who eventually fall in love with each other but after three years of being together are at a crossroads of where they want to take their relationship.
Directed by Dan Villegas (who also directed the two in “English Only, Please), “All of You” is produced by Quantum Films.
On his Instagram account, Ramsay asked his followers to watch the film, saying: “Hope you guys enjoy this film. We all worked so hard on it. #allofyou #mmff.”
‘SIARGAO’
Showcasing the beauty of Siargao, the film with the same title talks about falling in love and moving on. It is about a video blogger who travels to Siargao in order to recover from a failed relationship.
There, she meets Diego (Rosales) and both share a journey towards healing their hearts.
The romance-drama also stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Luke Landrigan, Wil Dasovich, Suzette Ranillo and Leon Miguel.
It is directed by Paul Soriano and produced by Ten17 Productions. Gonzales, on her Instagram, described her character: “Laura. Nagmahal. Nasaktan. Nag move on.”
