A bigger and better Gillamac’s Diagnostic and Medical Laboratories, Inc. (G Lab) will be opening soon to cater to the Cebu market with unparalleled health testing services.
Now owned and operated by Ted Madamba, as the Managing Director, G Lab will have its rebranding in the first quarter of this year, according its General Manager Gershwin Ralph Alvarez
“We would like to rebuild our healthy relationships with our partner suppliers, doctors and most of all our clients. Thus, we will be relaunching the old Gillamacs medical testing center and will now be known as G Lab,” says Alvarez.
In line with the relaunching of the G Lab, the center will undergo building renovations that will also include systems enhancement and aquisitions of more updated medical laboratory equipment, all to be housed in the ground floor of Gillamacs building. The ambiance of the proposed reception area will be more client-friendly while its rates will remain competitive for all the services offered.
The company has a competent workforce of a medical and dental doctors, medical techonologists, nurses, and radiologic technologists, psychologists, and other paramedical staff. Its long list of clients include Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies, various manufacturing firms, fast-food chains, shipping companies, hotels, schools, overseas and local employment agencies, as well as small and medium-size enterprises. In fact, G Lab has also been serving other medical laboratories that are sending out their clients’ specimens for the conduct of international standard laboratory procedures.
“Our goal is to really have zero customer and stakeholders’ complaints. To achieve this, we would like to inject high technology in our operations and our strict adherence to ISO accreditation standards. Actually, we are now working on providing real-time results to our clients through innovative digital solutions,” adds Madamba.
G Lab conducts standard laboratory examinations such as Complete Blood Count (CBC), urinalysis, stool exam, chest X-ray and blood chemistry like total cholesterol, Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS), Triglycerides, Creatinine, medical panels (Lipid panel, liver panel, thyriod panel, diabetic panel, cardiac panel and executive panel).
Other special serology/immunology tests also include drug test, Hepatities A & B screening, HIV screening.
The specialized Histology & Pathology examinations will soon be made available.
The center also offers pre-employment psychological examinations as such IQ and personality. Likewise, G Lab offers audiometry (hearing test) and eye test (Snellen’s and Ishihara tests) for companies requiring these type of special test, like shipping companies, call centers and various manufacturing entities.
Moreover, G Lab has an existing mobile laboratory vehicle for on-site corporate medical examination requirements that can easily be on the road anytime and anywhere in Cebu.
Previously located in Don Gil Garcia, Capitol Site, G Lab has transferred to its current location in downtown at 169 Sanciangko St., Cebu City – almost fronting Cebu Coliseum, a known landmark in downtown area. Its convenient location is close to downtown malls, schools and varied business establishments making it more accessible to all means of land transportation.
