THE COACH K Basketball Skillz Academy is all set to commence on April 2 at the Casals Gym inside the Casals Village in Barangay Mabolo.
The camp is being manned by grassroots basketball specialist Michael “Coach K” Cenabre.
Cenabre has compiled quite a resume, highlighted by his role as basketball skills coach during the camp conducted by Ryan Goodson – the skills coach of two-time MVP Stephen Curry – just recently.
Cenabre also happens to be the head scout of the Adamson University Soaring Falcons in the Visayas and Mindanao area. He has also conducted basketball camps overseas, notably in Singapore and Thailand.
The Coach K Basketball Skillz Academy is conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On Saturdays, the camps starts at 1:30 p.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m.
The camp offers extensive training based on the teachings of the Jr. NBA. Basketball fundamentals will be focused on throughout the camp while scrimmages will be conducted later on to gauge the progress being made by each camper.
