Cebu Province, MCCNHS earn slots to National Finals of SBP 3-on-3

THE CEBU Province team ruled over the rest of the field to emerge as the champions of the Cebu leg of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas 3×3 Pambansang Tatluhan last Saturday at the Sisters of Mary-Boystown in Minglanilla.
The Cebu Province squad is composed of Renzo Abines, Juan Garro, Justin Atilano and Khadshien Tagalog. That quartet got the best of Labangon’s Daryll Ebale Frankie John Dela Cruz and John Jessi Tangkay.
Placing third in the competition was Abellana National School.
In the distaff side, the Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School (MCCNHS) team comprised of Mary Grace Cogtas, Shen Camay, Mary Dignos and Jesarine Jhoy Soco proved to be in a class all on their own as they captured the girl’s title.
Minglanilla place second with the team of Lovely Magadan, Joanne Samudio, Ermestina Alforque and Tara Sabalones.
MCCNHS Team C finished in third place.
The champion teams will be going to Manila to compete in the National Finals next month.
