THE Gorilla Boot Camp Obstacle Race Challenge, the first obstacle race in Cebu, will have around a hundred participants today in Barangay Labogon, Mandaue City.
According to Antoinette Veloso, one of the organizers, participants are mostly beginners who shifted from running and triathlon.
They will test their mettle in the 400-meter oval-like obstacle course that has 14 challenges.
The obstacle race challenge will be handled by veteran race director Joel Juarez of Coco Running.
The participants are advised to be at the venue before the gun start at 1 p.m. for race kit distribution and race briefing.
