FORTY-SIX teams have registered for the 1st Formative Futsal Festival happening from August 18 to 19 at the school grounds of the Formative Academic and Skills Development School in Cotcot, Liloan, Cebu.
The futsal event is the second tournament that the Formative Sports Commission (FSC) has organized. The first, the 1st Formative Cup 2018 Inter-Company & Inter-Subdivision Basketball Tournament, is still ongoing.
Both tournaments are in line with the Formative School’s aim of exposing its students to more sporting activities as part of their learning. It is primarily why the school formed the FSC.
The tournament has 16 categories — Under 7 and Under 9 Mixed; Under 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19 Boys; Under 15 and 19 Girls; 38 and 45 Above, Men’s and Ladies Open; Mix Open and the Inter-Company/BPO.
Deadline of registration will be on Aug. 15 with the fee pegged at P1,500 for all categories.
