Ateneo de Cebu wins fourth crown in SRFC

SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu added a fourth title in the 13th San Roque Football Cup, which came to an end Sunday at the San Roque football pitch in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

The Magis Eagles added the Boys 19 crown after finishing with the most number of wins in the category, which was played in a league-type format. Ateneo won four of its matches and ended one in a draw.

On Saturday, Ateneo already bagged three crowns in the girls’ division — Under 15, U17 and U19.

In the Under 17 Boys contest, the University of San Jose Recoletos (USJ-R) bagged the title after prevailing in a penalty shootout against DBTC, 4-3.

Rising Sun clinched the 40 Above title after also posting the most number of wins. The category was also played in a league-type format.

The Men’s Open title went to Hiroshi after edging the Pocket Monsters, 1-0.
