BINIBINING Cebu 2018 gives Mary Grace Castillo a chance to compete on stage again.
Castillo, who wears the sash for San Fernando, is one of the single mothers who are making a comeback in the pageant industry.
“Being a mother should never be a hindrance to pursue our passion. It should rather be a motivation and inspiration,” she said.
Castillo has a one-year-old child named Kenzou Klein Sabinay.
What makes Castillo proud of her town?
Aside from a five-star Japanese owned hotel, San Fernando has Bacalla woods which is perfect for the nature lovers.
The town celebrates Sikoy Sikoy Festival which means net fishing during rough tides.

BEING one of the candidates in this year’s Binibining Cebu 2018 celebrates Maria Cielito Abendan’s femininity.
She said it is a life-changing experience for her to be part of the pageant and represent Lapu-Lapu City.
“It turned me into more empowered, stronger and beautiful woman. I think that’s why Binibining Cebu is very important for me and for every Cebuana,” she said.
Lapu-Lapu City is known for its world-class resorts and diving spots. Another famous attraction is the Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary known as flyaway sites for migrating birds in the world. It also has the most extensive network of mangroves in the whole of Cebu.
