DEFENDING champions Lycans and top contender Sherilin Plastics logged victories during the opening of the 5th Season of the Duterte Basketball League Cebu last Sunday at the Capitol Parish Gym.
The Lycans easily routed the Ikustoms Motorsports, 63-38, with Sam Hermosa scoring 14 points and Rexon Moneva adding 10.
Sherilin Plastics, meanwhile, beat CPPO, 65-57, as former Cesafi standouts Jam Ferraren and Mike Cantonao combined to score 35 points.
In other matches, the Knights put down Rasenta Builders, 54-31; Paragsa downed the Gifters, 80-69; Tito’s Kitchen beat Penthel, 63-54 while the SAGBAF upended Neilrosemark Travel, 54-45, as Ralph Belarmino scored 17 points.
