By: Mars G. Alison October 30,2018 - 08:49 PM

THE Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (Cesafi) has made some changes in the schedule of the remaining matches in both secondary and collegiate divisions of the football competition.

The secondary championship between Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) and University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) will be held on November 10 at 10 a.m. It was originally scheduled for October 27.

The battle for third place between Don Bosco Technical College and University of San Carlos (USC) will also be held on the same day, but earlier at 8 a.m.

The college division will have two remaining playing dates in the second round of eliminations.

No matches will be played today as players have gone home for the semestral break.

The second round of elimination will resume on November 7 with University of Cebu (UC) going up against USJ-R at 1 p.m. and USC taking on University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF).

The championship match of the college division has also been rescheduled from November 11 to November 18. To be held on November 11 instead are the matches of USJ-R versus USC and USPF versus University of the Visayas (UV). These matches were supposed to have been played last October 10.

Unlike the secondary division, the college division follows a league-type format with the top two teams contesting the title. There will be no semifinal round and battle for third.
