KAPAMILYA actor Tony Labrusca takes a mature role as he headlines the upcoming film, “Glorious” opposite award-winning actress Angel Aquino.
The film’s official trailer was shared by SineHub’s Facebook page last Saturday, November 3.
It became a hot trending topic on the Internet with more than six million views as of yesterday.
The trailer opens with Labrusca and Aquino kissing passionately and conversing while lying on the bed.
“Hulaan ko edad mo, 45?” he asked.
“Hindi,” Aquino answered.“Ang importante, ramdam kita,” the young actor answered.
Another scene showed when both are talking inside the store.
“Ano pong hanap niyo?” the young actor asked Aquino.
“Liwanag,” Aquino replied.
“Wow! Liwanag,” he said.
Although both agreed to be in a relationship, Aquino is worried about people’s reaction because of their 30-year age gap.
“Bakit ka apektado? Sino ba sila sa buhay natin?” the young actor asked.
“Nahihiya ako noh,” she answered.
Labrusca said he wants to fight for his love for Aquino.
“Ano bang nakakahiya sa ginagawa natin?” Labrusca answered.
“Glorious” is directed by Concepcion Macatuno and produced by Dreamscape Digital. The movie will be streamed on IWanTV this November.
This is Labrusca’s second lead movie after “ML” which was part of Cinemalaya 2018.
Aquino’s last movie was the historical epic, “Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis” released in 2016. The 45-year-old actress is also currently part of ABS-CBN’s top-rating series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
