Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes with son, Akio
CELEBRITY couple Paolo Contis and LJ Reyes revealed their daughter’s name during a baby shower party held Sunday at Rockwell Center in Makati City.
The child will be named Summer Ayanna Reyes Contis.
In an Instagram post, Reyes explained the reason behind Summer Ayanna’s name.
“Summer is a name I have been wanting to give my child ever since I dreamt of becoming a mother, and I appreciate Pao that he gave his approval and embraced it,” she said.
The couple also decided to give their daughter a second name that starts with letter A since all their children’s names start with the same letter.
Reyes then continued in her Instagram post that the name Ayanna is derived from an African name which means “a beautiful flower.”
“How fitting!!! When I think of Summer, I think of warm hugs and a light that gives hope. A season in full bloom! And that is how our baby girl is to us,” Reyes said.
Summer Ayanna is Reyes’ first child with Contis.
This is her second child after Akio whose father is actor Paulo Avelino.
Before Contis and Reyes’ relationship, Contis has two children namely Abriana and Aitana with former “Eat Bulaga!” babe Lian Paz.
