Fan’s photo album of Game of Thrones reenacted scenes makes waves online
Cebuana Joezel Rizi Nubla, who grew up in Manila and is now in south France, reenacts one scene of the series in this photo from her Facebook account.
Cebu City,Philippines— The Game of Thrones craze is still buzzing since the premier of its final season on Tuesday.
Joezel Rizi Nubla, who was born in Cebu but grew up in Manila, is among the millions of GoT fans joining the craze.
But she isn’t playing the spoiler’s role.
Nubla is taking the GoT frenzy to the next level with a photo album on her Facebook account.
The album, which has been shared 9,900 times as of 10 a.m. of Wednesday, April 17, 2019, contains pictures of Nubia reenacting some of the GoT scenes on the exact location sets of the world renowned series.
Her album is titled Rizigoesplaces: Game of Thrones Filming Location.
“Im a fan of Game of Thrones po. Sinearch ko yung mga shooting locations nila, and since I live in Europe, from time to time, I visit them po. Yung mga locations na napuntahan ko are mostly sa Croatia, Spain, Malta and Northern Ireland” said Nubla, a 32-year-old who was born in Cebu, grew up in Manila and is now in south of France, where she is currently working as an application developer associate manager.
(I am a fan of Game of Thrones. i searched the shooting locations and since I live in Europe, from time to time I visit some of the sites. I’ve been to their location shoots in Croatia, Spain, Malta and Northern Ireland.)
The album was actually first shared in 2017 but Nubia reshared it this year in time for the premier of the final season.
“As a fan po, dream ko maging extra sa series pero since suntok sa buwan po yun, I just reenacted yung mga scenes. All of my photos (except the ones in Northern Ireland) were taken just by myself (selfies). I mostly travel solo, and si tripod po bestfriend ko. I posted it before, but it wasn’t noticed sa groups yet. And since nagpremier na ang last season, I thought of resharing it again.”
(As a fan, I dream of becoming an extra for the series but since that seems really impossible, I just reenacted some scenes. All of my photos (except the ones in Northern Ireland) were taken just by myself (selfies). I mostly travel solo, and my tripod becomes my bestfriend. I posted it before, but wasn’t noticed by groups. And since the series has released its last season, I thought of resharing it again.)
