USC NABC Mayor’s Cup: 2005 Chameleons, 1998 Sipat win Friday night games

CEBU CITY, Philippines – The 2005 Chameleons eked out a 61-58 win over the 2001 Builders in Division 2 of the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Club Mayor’s Cup on Friday night, August 23, at the USC North Campus gym located along General Maxilom Avenue in Cebu City.
Jan Palos helped push the Chameleons to the victory as he stuffed the stat-sheet with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Meanwhile in Division 1 action, the 1998 Sipat bested the 1995 Pirates, 92-88. Cromwell Po sparked 1998’s charge to the win as he produced 18 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.
The action continues on Saturday night, August 25, 2019, with three games on the schedule.
In Division 3, the 2007 Waybus tackles Batch 2013 while in the Seniors division, the 1982 Warriors will take on the 1987 Bro. In Division 1, the 1992 Little Rascals will face off against the 1994 Bulldogs. | dcb
