POLICE are hunting a security guard accused of stealing P50,000 cash from an auto parts store he was guarding in downtown Cebu City.

Police said the owners of Aljun Trading on Leon Kilat Street believed it was Henry Sari who ransacked the store.

Store owners Alfredo Pacquiao and his wife Jona said Sari was detailed at the store two days before the burglary happened.

The couple discovered the theft when they arrived in the store past 7 a.m. yesterday.

The couple said things inside the store were in disarray and they later found out that the cash kept in a drawer was missing.

Police said the burglar entered the store by destroying the wall at the back of the store.
