The University of San Carlos Baby Warriors start their defense of their Passerelle division crown this Saturday when the 2014 Milo-backed BEST Center SBP/Passerelle Tournament kicks off at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Lux Oriens gym in Canduman, Mandaue City.
USC, the reigning Cebu and Visayas champions, will be taking on the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Group A action. In the same group, the Cebu Eastern College Dragons will be battling the University of Southern Philippines Foundation.
In Group B, the University of the Visayas test their mettle against Southwestern University while former national champions SHS-AdC try their luck against Don Bosco.
All the participating teams in both the Passerelle and the Small Basketeers of the Philippines divisions are advised to attend the ceremonies which start at 8 a.m. Prior to that, a coaches briefing will be held at 7:30 a.m.
