Far from the glitzy concept of dance-pop and ballad tunes characteristic of their debut album “Get in the Zone,” SB19’s latest track introduces a different theme with a heavier and more explosive beat.
In a press statement, the band’s main rapper, lead vocalist, and co-producer of the song, Pablo (formerly known as Sejun), shared to the media what their latest song is really about.
“‘What?’ is about self-love and empowerment. Each of us has our own flag. We should be proud of it and raise it as much as we can. As SB19 and as individuals, we know that we’re not the best at everything, but that shouldn’t stop us from what we want to achieve,” he said.
The group’s comeback delighted A’Tins (fans of SB19) all over the world and took their excitement on social media with the hashtag #SB19WHATComeback and topped Twitter when the video premiered at 7 p.m. on March 9, 2021.
