The International Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (IPI) confirmed partnership with DanceSport Team Cebu City (DTCC) for the second straight year in the upcoming Cebu Open DanceSport Championship 2014 & 7th Dancesport sa Sugbu.
IPI started in 1959 in Cebu with its product, Efficascent Oil. It has grown to become the Philippines’ leading manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical and health care products, such as Omega Pain Killer Pro, Casino Active Ethyl Alcohol and Lecit-E Vitamins. The company has expressed support for the activities DTCC initiates for the sporting community.
The Cebu Open DanceSport Championship 2014 & 7th Dancesport Sa Sugbu is a 14-hour competition-for-a-cause that serves as the culmination activity of hundreds of child trainees (mostly under-privileged) who benefit from regular free dancesport workshops and follow-through trainings in Cebu City’s 80 barangays including the remote mountainous areas.
The Cebu Open DanceSport Championship 2014 & 7th Dancesport Sa Sugbu, is organized by the DanceSport Team Cebu City (DTCC), a non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization composed of volunteer dance teachers.
DanceSport sa Sugbu is touted to be the “Friendliest Competition in the World”, and home of the Guinness World of Record for Largest Dance Class. It promotes tourism as an estimated two thousand participants (audience and athletes) from the Philippines and the Asia Pacific region gather to witness the event and enjoy the sights of world-class island tourist destinations in Cebu.
