Boosting tourism: Student shares creative way to highlight tourist spots in Cebu

CEBU CITY, Philippines— What better way to promote our beautiful province than to be creative.

Jericho Delos Santos, a fourth-year tourism student from Lapu-Lapu City, shares with CDN Digital his digital cutout illustrations as his way of boosting tourism.

For a week, Delos Santos spent his free time making these cutouts that highlight not only the beautiful fashion trends but also some of Cebu’s best tourist spots.

“Honestly as a tourism student, I feel obliged to make something that supports or promotes tourism-related projects especially this time of the pandemic. Other than dealing with our online class, I’m so happy to create arts-related to tourism knowing many people online are appreciating it,” he said.
