Three people, including a 15-year-old girl, were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the police shortly before sunrise yesterday in barangay Poblacion in Cordova town in Cebu.
Roquilan Quirong, 34, who was the subject of the operation, was arrested after he allegedly sold five grams of shabu to a police decoy.
Police described Quirong as an alleged Level 2 drug pusher who has been under surveillance for two weeks.
A Level 2 drug pusher could allegedly sell 200 grams of illegal drugs per week.
Police from the Regional Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (RAIDSTOG) allegedly found two big packs and 120 small packs suspected to contain shabu worth P413,000 from Quirong’s house.
Insp, Joey Bicoy said he saw a box at the terrace where the drug deal was allegedly done. When the suspect opened the box, he allegedly saw assorted packs of shabu being kept there.
Quirong’s father, Orlando, and the 15-year-old common-law wife of Quirong’s brother were also arrested as they were in the house during the operation. Police said they also seized a .22 cal. revolver from Orlando.
