CEBU CITY, Philippines – The tri-cities here in Cebu will remain under the most lenient form of community quarantine, Malacañang announced on Wednesday, April 30.

Acting Palace Spokesperson Martin Andanar announced to reporters in Metro Manila the list of areas that will shift or remain under Alert Level 1, as recommended by the national government’s anti-COVID task force.

For Central Visayas, Alert Level 1 status will be extended until April 30 for Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City and Mandaue City and Siquijor.

This means that the rest of the region – the provinces of Cebu, Bohol, and Negros Oriental – will remain under a ‘stricter’ Alert Level 2.  | with reports from INQUIRER.net
