A construction worker was arrested for allegedly stabbing a co-worker to death at the S & E Construction site in barangay Looc, Mandaue City at 1 p.m. last Monday.
Jaymar Pilapil, a 46-year-old resident of San Remegio town, Cebu was caught by security guard Wareen dela Pena as he tried to escape after stabbing Orlan Flores several times.
SPO1 Ariel Perez of the Opao police precinct said workers helped dela Pena pin down Pilapil but they got carried away and mauled him before police restrained them.
Pilapil told police that he got angry at Flores who kept staring at him.
